Mo's Challenge #154

Ribbons and Bows

Another easy challenge for this week! I use ribbons and/or bows on almost all the cards I make!

This card uses Mo's cute "Housework Fairy." Don't we all wish we had one?!
I do have a cleaning lady that comes in once a week, which is almost as good!

The inspiration for this card came from a commercial greeting card
that a co-worker gave me for my birthday.
Although I don't drink, I thought the sentiment was funny,
so I used a variation of it for this card.

The inside says, "You can start by cleaning out the liquor cabinet! Happy Birthday!"

Images: "Housework Fairy" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Computer-generated sentiment

Tools: Copics, Spica pen, SU! Slot punch, MS branch punch

Papers: SU! CS, Neenah white, MME "Lost & Found"DP

Embellishments: Satin ribbon, Pearl brad, Flowers from WOC

So, get out your pretty ribbons and make a card or project using one
of Mo's great images and enter Mo's Challenge!
You could win a $5.00 gift certificate to her store!

Glad to have you stop by!

Mo's Challenge #153

Punches and Dies

This was an easy challenge for me, as I use punches and/or dies on almost all of my cards. I never met a punch or die I didn't like!

This card uses an image that Mo gave away as a freebie, but is now available in the shop.
I think this embossing folder gives the look of elephant skin.

Images: "I Forgot!" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Digital peanuts, Stamped sentiment from SU!

Tools: Copics, Distressing tool, Cuttlebug with embossing folder, Flower die, and leaf flourish die, Oval punches, Small daisy punch. Mounting tape, Glue dots

Embellishments: Small brads

I can't wait to see which dies and punches you'll use on your creation for this Mo's Challenge this week. I'm always looking for pretty new ones! LOL!

Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT for some wonderful inspiration

Mo's Challenge # 152

All Buttoned Up!

Mos' Challenge this week is to use buttons on your card or project. That should be fairly easy, don't you think?!
I've used one of Mo's sweet little baby fairies for my card. They are all just so adorable!

This one is my favorite of all... I think lady bugs are so cute! The red roses were made from a Cheery Lynn die...so easy! The die cuts have small holes in the middle, so I threaded and glued them on a stamen which I then used to poke through the card front and secured on the back.  I bought the die on sale from an on-line shop that was going out of business. After using it, I wished I'd bought the other sizes! Of course, everything was sold out when I went to buy more!

Tools: Copics, Spica pens, Cuttlebug with Cheery Lynn rose die, Nellie Snellen embossing rose punch set, wire

Papers: SU! Red, Black, and Gable Green, Neenah white, Digital DP from Jak Heath

Embellishments: Red satin ribbon, Buttons, Tiny button brad, Flowers

Hope you'll enter the challenge this week for a chance to win a gift certificate to Mo's shop! So make something wonderful using one of Mo's images, and don't forget the buttons!

Check out the rest of the DT for some wonderful inspiration!

Always happy when you stop by!

Anything Goes!

Another 'Anything Goes' Mo's Challenge! They are always my favorites!

I've used Mo's "Girl With Sign" for this card. I love how versatile this image is as the sign is blank so you can put anything you'd like on it.

The inside says, "This is the only sign I can see that you're getting older!"

Tools: Copics, White gel pen, Nellie Snellen Embossing rose leaf punch set, Tacky tape
